Personal: Jamar was born on November 8, 1986 in Little Rock Arkansas and attended North Little Rock High School. At the end of his senior season at North Little Rock High, he was named to the All-Metro team by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He also participated in the Arkansas State high School Game, played at the University of Arkansas. He was also a fantastic track athlete, recording a personal-best 10.6 in the 100M. He also participated in the 200M and 4x100M relay.

Professional Career: Jamar went undrafted and evnetually signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent on April 30, 2009. After pit-stops at Dallas and Tampa Bay among other teams, he finally found a home in Tennessee with the Titans.

Collegiate Career: As a junior in high school, Jamar received a copious amount of scholarship offers from BCS programs such as Nebraska, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Oklahoma State. In the end, however, he decided to stay home and play for the University of Arkansas. Love first appeared for the Razorbacks on special teams as a freshman. As a senior in 2008, he started 6 games and accumulated 39 tackles and 8 pass-deflections.
